Setting Up EasyASP
Here is Short tutorial on how to set up EasyASP for usage.
Section 1: Setting Up The Program
EasyASP has many options that can be set. Some include what programs EasyASP runs when you
click certain buttons and others are color coding colors, background colors, template selections, and other color coding options.
Below you will find specific information on how to set up EasyASP and get it running to suit your needs.
- Section 1.1: Setting External Programs
EasyASP allows you to open certain programs via menus and toolbar buttons. This section will show you how to set these up.

In Order
- External Browser: This setting sets the browser that you would like to use to view your files when you click the view external button or menu item. Most likely this will be Netscape
- FTP Program: This setting sets the FTP Program that is executed when you click the FTP button or menu item. Most likely this will be EasyFTP or another FTP Program
- Database viewer: This setting starts the Database program that you have selected when you click the DB Button or men item. Most likely this will be EasyDB or Access
- External Editor: This setting starts the external editor you wish to use to view the current page. Normally this will be a WYSIWYG editor like frontpage or DreamWeaver

In Order
- Background Colors: This setting sets Color for the background of the main program.
- Color Code Colors: These are the colors that are used for Color Coding a document. Valid codes are listed below:
- 0 - black
- 1 - blue
- 2 - green
- 3 - cyan
- 4 - red
- 5 - magenta
- 6 - yellow
- 7 - white
- 8 - gray
- 9 - light blue
- 10 - light green
- 11 - light cyan
- 12 - light red
- 13 - light magenta
- 14 - light yellow
- 15 - bright white

In Order
- Template Selection: Choose the template that will come up when the program starts or you open a new document
- Color Code: This options lets you select if EasyASP color codes a document as you open it or not. This is set to no by Default

This dialog allows you to associate EasyASP with the file types that are listed. To use just select that file types that you would like
EasyAsp to be associated with and then click the associate button. Please be aware that once EasyASP is associated with these file
types that you can not undo this. This will be available in a future version.
